Sanskrit Name : Nimba
Latin Name : Azadirachta indica
Habitat : Commonly found on various parts of India.
Morphology: It is a large tree growing up to 18m high.
Trunk : Straight with branches in all directions.
Bark : Thick,black,rough from which secretion is obtained.
Leaves : Pinnate ,crowded at the ends, of branches.
Leaflets : 9-17,opposite,sub opposite or alternate;lanceolate,acuminate,serrate or dentate,glabrous.
Flowers : Numerous,white,honey-scented.
Fruits : 1 seeded drupes,oblong,green and hard,on ripening it turns yellow and soft.
Seeds : Contain oil ,sweet,slightly pungent and sticky pulp and single seed.
Flowering : February-April.
Fruiting : June - August.
Part Used : Flowers,Leaves,Bark,Seed and Oil.

This plant very useful in skin disease

a)   It is used as biological pesticide.
b)   Seed oil using for hair fall.
